T.R.O.வுக்கு நன்கொடை
TRO-வின் நியூ ஜெர்ஸி தொடர்பு எண் 609-779-7746 உபயோகத்தில் இல்லை என்று சொல்கிறது. டாக்டர் ஸ்ரீஹரனுடன் தொடர்பு கொண்டு தொலைபேசியில் பேசினேன். அவர் தொலைபேசி எண் 301-320-6344. TRO இணையதளம் மூலம் பணம் அளிப்பதற்கு Paypal கணக்குத் தேவை என்று நினைக்கிறேன். சிலர் paypal கணக்கை உருவாக்கிப் பணம் தர சுணக்கம் காட்டுகிறார்கள். எனவே, அவர்களிடம் T.R.O என்ற பெயருக்குக் காசோலை வாங்கி டாக்டர் ஸ்ரீஹரனுக்குத் தபாலில் அனுப்பி வைத்து விடலாம் என்று இருக்கிறேன். அலுவலகம், அருகில் வசிக்கும் நண்பர்கள் ஆகியோர் நன்கொடை அளிக்க விரும்பினால், அக்காசோலைகளை வாங்கி நான் அனுப்பி வைத்துவிட முடியும். இதைவிடச் சுலபமான விஷயம் நன்கொடையாளர்கள் T.R.O. முகவரிக்கே காசோலைகளை நேரடியாக அனுப்பி வைப்பது. Dear Pandi, Charity Organizations which are tax exempted will send you a receipt (normally) at the end of the year (before you file taxes). You can use it to claim tax exemption. If you dont get the receipt (or whatever document it is called, i use the name receipt for convenience), you may contact them and get it. I donated to some charity organizations in the past and I got receipts before I filed the tax. However, it may be a good idea, to keep your credit card statement and print from online if there is receipt available while donating. Thanks, PK Sivakumar

Tamils Rehabilitation Organization (TRO) and
International Medical Health Organization (IMHO) are two
organizations that work in the Tamil Areas of Srilanka for
the past several years for the rehabilitation of civilians
affected by the war and rebuilding hospitals respectively.
They are both Tax exempt US IRS approved 501c3 charitable
organizations.
They both have no overhead at all and all operational costs
are absorbed by the board of directors.
They both work relentlessly for the past one week on the
tsunami relief project.
In the 8PM CNN news yesterday, IMHO USA president was
interviewed regarding the relief work.
